Monolith Festival
The legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre finally gets its very own festival.

On September 14 and 15 more than 50 bands will head into beautiful Colorado for the inaugural Monolith Festival. Headlined by The Flaming Lips and Cake, the festival will also host The Decemberists, Spoon, Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and many, many more alternative and indie acts!
2 days of music at Red Rocks, you’d be a fool not to take advantage of this. I can’t even imagine the live spectacle of the Flaming Lips at Red Rocks, it should be a thing of glory.
You can pick up tickets at where else but Ticketmaster, which are $79 for a 2 day pass. For more info check out Monolith Festival’s site.

Hey my test worked… the lables on your comments are still missing. Anyhow, I wish x’s 400 or so that I could go. I can’t imagine how cool both headliners would be and in such an amazing setting. I’m seriously re-thinking the having kids and jobs theory. Of course… my laptop will travel. But I hate the idea of paying so much for my son to go. But it does sound amazing I love Flaming Lips & Cake!

Ok, I will check out it, thanks.
Anyways, this is a real cool festival. The Flaming Lips put on a great show and when I went to Colorado I didn’t want to leave. It’s a cool place, I wish I had the cash to fly out. Oh well, maybe next year.
