Blind Melon New Album And Tour

Looks like Blind Melon are gearing up for a pretty busy year, as they attempt to return following the unfortunate death of Shannon Hoon back in 1995.
Last year the band recruited frontman Travis Warren, now they’ve recorded a new album and will embark on a five month tour.
Their new album, For My Friends, will hit shelves on April 22 and is the first Blind Melon album since 1996’s Nico.
The band will kick off their tour on February 28 and will continue until August!

The new music doesn’t sound too bad, but I’m a purist and it’s real hard to replace a frontman, especially one like Shannon Hoon. But, I’ll give them a chance, I mean you can’t blame the band for wanting to continue after their career was tragically cut short.
