Our Lady Peace Working on New Album
Our Lady Peace are working on their follow up to 2005’s Healthy In Paranoid Times.
The Canadian band reportedly have 16 or 17 tracks ready for the new album and began work on the new album in February of 2007. The guys should be getting back to work on the new album anytime now.
On July 5 guitarist Steve Mazur left a post on the band’s MySpace page that stated: “Many songs are finished, we’re just writing more now `cause we’re having a good time doing it [...] so we figure why not just keep going until we feel that we’re out of juice”.
The new album is apparently going to be produced by frontman Raine Maida. The title and artwork for the album are also being discussed right now as well.
I’m kind of glad to hear this. Our Lady Peace is defiantly a guilty pleasure of mine.
