New Release Tuesaday: Candlebox, Nine Inch Nails, Beck
Another Tuesday, which means another set of new releases.
Candlebox returns with their first studio album in ten years. Now, I was never a huge Candlebox fan, but any band that managed to survive the 90’s is alright in my book. The new album, entitled Into The Sun, will probably grab the attention of most 90’s fans. I don’t know if I’ll pick it up, but if you want a review wait for Scott over at The Rock Dose to deliver one.
Here’s an acoustic, live performance of the first single “Stand”.
Nine Inch Nails are releasing the previous free download album The Slip into stores today. I liked the album when I first heard it, but I haven’t listened to it enough to give you a breakdown. It seems like a standard NIN album, so folks shouldn’t be disappointed. So, if you didn’t take advantage of the free download, then defiantly pick this album up.
Listen to “Discipline”, which was the first single type thing from The Slip.
Beck is releasing his wonderful new album Modern Guilt on vinyl today. So, if you live near a record shop then swing by and snag a copy. I know I’ll be hunting down a copy of Beck’s recent work.
Enjoy the video for Beck’s groovy single “Gamma Ray”.

Thanks for the link. I’ll be swinging by good ols walmart today to pick it up. No doubt they will have it. Unless it’s edited and then I’m gonna be ticked cause I’ll have to drive a bit further down the road to get it and then I’ll doa review later this week. I’m not huge on them either, but I’m eager to hear the rest of this album.
No problem, you got two great sites.
Ugh, Wal-Mart…really?
I don’t have the extra cash to spend on albums right now, but if I did, I would probably pick this new Candlebox album up. It’s really tempting to hear what time has done with these guys.
