STP to Release DVD

Stone Temple Pilots are apparently going to release a DVD of their private Houdini estate performance from April 7, where they also announced a massive 65 date tour.

There’s no other info at this time, but be sure to check out the band on May 1 when they appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

I love STP, but I’m not too sure about this. It seems kind of lame to release a live DVD with only 7 tracks, but if they add some special features then I’m game.

For now, check out this little sampler from the April 7 performance.

Happy Earth Day! And in other news, yes, 7 songs seems sort of slim, but you know, B sides sell just fine, so I suppose short live albums might as well. One of my favorite Faith No More albums is just 4 songs.

Happy Belated Earth Day to you!

True, but STP has never really been a band to release rare tracks, but it’s better late than never.

And, please tell me that you’re talking about Faith No More’s Songs To Make To, that EP is awesome.

Hey, you got it. I love that it. Who’d of thought a song like Easy could be so flippin’ cool.
