Once again I refuse to socialize and am left out of another list by fellow b5er’s. But, I’m still gonna join the fun.
This time everyone thought it would be a great idea to open up and share their guilty pleasures. Check out what they had to list here.
So, here are my top ten guilty pleasures. […]

We always need some sort of Cranberries to go with Turkey Day next week.
The Cranberries are all from outside Limerick, Ireland.
The band formed in 1990, after Noel Hogan (guitar), Mike Hogan (bass) and Fergal Lawlor met singer Dolores O’Riordon through mutual friends.
The boys original name for the band was Cranberry Saw Us.
“Linger” was the first […]

This past Monday, November 12, I checked out Bright Eyes at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE.
It was a pretty awesome show. The Grand Opera House is just a splendid venue. I would love to catch another show there in the future.
The main man in the band, Conor Oberst, kept reminding the crowd that […]

What a kick ass song!
“Volcano Girls” was on Veruca Salt’s 1997 album Eight Arms to Hold You and would also be used as the opening track for the 1999 flick Jawbreaker.
So, why does this song kick so much ass?
How about awesome vocals by Nina Gordon, some killer guitar work by Louise Post, a reference to […]

AIC released this essential EP back on January 25, 1994.
A lot of people mention 1992’s Dirt as the band’s most definitive album; but Jar of Flies showed us how talented and wonderful AIC were. All seven tracks are so perfectly written and performed, that it left us screaming for more.
That’s why it was no shocker that Jar of […]

I guess some of us will […]

There will be a handful of birthday tribute concerts for Jeff Buckley this week.
One of the bigger tribute shows will take place in L.A. at the Key Club on November 15. The show will be hosted by Jack Osbourne (I have no clue why though, ugh) and will feature over 30 acts!
Other cities hosting tribute shows […]

Let’s celebrate the release of Lord Don’t Slow Me Down with an FYI on the feuding brothers Gallagher and their band Oasis.
The band was formed by schoolmates Liam Gallagher, Paul (Bonehead) Arthurs on guitar, Paul McGuigan on bass and Tony McCaroll on drums.
Noel Gallagher joined the band after being a guitar roadie for the Inspriral […]

This makes sense, right?
I mean how can you have a film about a musician and not have their music in the film?
Anyways, Universal Studios has purchased the rights to the Charles Cross biography “Heavier Than Heaven” (which is a really good read) and the rights to Nirvana’s music. Of course Courtney Love is involved in […]

Radiohead will be releasing In Rainbows on cd and vinyl on December 31. The band will also release “Jigsaw Falling Into Place” as a single on January 14.
The band recently inked a deal with XL Recordings, a British indie label, to release In Rainbows internationally. It is heavily rumoured that the Dave Matthews founded ATO […]
