Soundgarden – Hands All Over

This was the mighty Soundgarden’s song about environmentalism from 1989’s Louder Than Love.

Apparently the lyrics, “baby brother, put your hands, you’re gonna kill your brother”, mean that the mother is the Earth and baby brother is humanity. Even if with lyrics that are about protecting the Earth, the music still rocks because it’s classic Soundgarden.

The reason why I mention this song is because it’s Blog Action Day and for more info you should check out Hippie Sounds, where there is a list of other B5er’s doing their green thing and lots of other cool greeness.

Thanks for the link love; and happy late BA Day. I’m still trying to catch up with everyone who linked about it — lots and lots which is such great news but keeping me busy :)

No prob, you did an awesome job with Blog Action Day. It looked like that there were a bunch of people involved, I would say it was pretty successful.
