A day late, but still good, let’s check out an FYI on the Atlanta natives.
The band formed in 1984 under the name Mr. Crowes Garden.
In 1989 the band recorded a demo that would eventually land them a deal with Rick Rubin’s American Recordings.
Their debut album, Shake Your Money Maker, was released in January 1990 and […]

Just a reminder that R.E.M. just released a live disc this past Tuesday.
Live was recorded during two nights in Dublin back in 2005 and is blend of classic and newer R.E.M. tunes. Live is 2 discs and a dvd that should keep every R.E.M. fan occupied.
Here’s the tracklisting:

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo will release a collection of demos that have been recorded from 1992 to 2007.
The album is scheduled for a December 11, however there is currently no information on song titles or anything else for that matter.
Meanwhile, Weezer is still at work on their follow up to 2005’s Make Believe.

Maybe by now the hype surrounding Radiohead’s seventh album, In Rainbows, has somewhat died down, which is why I waited to post a review. I even waited until Friday to download it.

Hey Baltimore…Black Market Radio is taking over your city this weekend!
BMR is a great band from New York City, fronted by Chris Cornell’s brother Peter. But even if they weren’t fronted by a Cornell, they would still rock. So make sure you check these guys out.
They’ll be doing some radio performances and a show this Sunday […]

What a great song from Chris Cornell’s 1999 solo debut Euphoria Morning.
I know that I was shocked when I first heard “Can’t Change Me”, because it was vastly different than anything I heard from Soundgarden. It’s a shame that this was his first and only single released from Euphoria Morning, because it’s just a fantastic […]
