Bridge School Benefit 2007

After months of rumors, Neil Young’s annual fundraiser announces it’s line up.

The 21st edition of the Bridge School Benefit will feature Neil Young, Metallica, Jerry Lee Lewis, Eddie Vedder, Tom Waits, Tegan & Sara and Regina Spektor. Wow, what a line up.

The two day acoustic event will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountainview, CA on October 27th and 28th. Tickets will go on sale on September 9.

Seeing Neil is a great experience, Jerry Lee Lewis still has juice, Tom Waits is a legend, Regina Spektor is one of the best new artists around and having Metallica unplug, this show is well worth catching. Let’s not forget that it’s for a great cause.

As if that wasn’t enough, Eddie Vedder will be joined by Flea and Jack Irons! Pearl Jam and the Peppers better watch out, these guys could be starting something. Last May the trio performed together at Flea’s annual Hullabaloo benefit show.

They actually performed at the Bridge School before. There is a great version of “Fade to Black” on iTunes from their set at the Bridge School.
